Job summary

Allied Universal in Denver, CO is hiring an Armed Security Officer Bus Concourse to monitor transit facilities, patrol key areas, deter incidents, and assist passengers with courteous, professional service in line with our values. The role includes conducting armed patrols, controlling access, writing accurate reports, and coordinating with supervisors and law enforcement.

Minimums: 3+ years security or related experience, Armed Guard Card, 21+, background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience, or a college degree.
• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• 1+ years of armed security-related experience.
• Armed Guard Card or license.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law; drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and others by carrying out security procedures and incident response.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations following protocols.
• Conduct armed patrols of transit facilities and surrounding areas and monitor access points.
• Assist with crowd management during peak travel and report hazards or policy violations.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports and coordinate with supervisors and law enforcement.
