Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer Transit Driving in Denver, CO to protect riders, staff, and facilities. You will drive routes, perform patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver exceptional service while adhering to policy and protocol.

Day-to-day duties emphasize safety and communication with transit personnel and the public. Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of security experience, an armed license, a valid driver’s license, and are 21 or older for armed

Qualifications

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
Armed Guard Card or license required.
Valid driver’s license required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check and drug screen required.
Industry-specific security training may be required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to riders, staff, and visitors by following security procedures and policies.
Conduct regular armed patrols of transit facilities and surrounding areas to deter incidents.
Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly, coordinating with transit personnel and law enforcement as needed.
Monitor access points and verify credentials; report suspicious activity and incidents.
Prepare incident reports and daily activity logs.
