Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer for a full-time mobile patrol in Birmingham, AL. You will conduct armed patrols at transit facilities, maintain a visible security presence, and provide professional customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors.

Requirements include a valid Concealed Carry Permit, at least one year of security experience, CPR preferred, and background checks as required by law.

Qualifications

• Valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• At least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Armed guard card/license preferred.
• Handcuffing certification preferred.
• Must be 21 years or older for armed roles.
• Background check as per laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of transit facilities and perimeter areas.
• Respond to incidents calmly and request law enforcement or supervisor support as needed.
• Monitor access points and document observations and incidents.
