Job summary

The Osen Hunter Group LLC is seeking a Training Manager to oversee training and instructional leadership for Vendor Personnel. The on-site role reports daily in the New Market, MD area.

You will develop training programs, coordinate sessions, ensure compliance, and evaluate training effectiveness while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. A Top Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
• Must be 21+ years old and a U.S. citizen.
• Current Top Secret security clearance with POLY.
• 7+ years in security or law enforcement with 5+ in training/leadership.
• Firearms Instructor Certification (e.g., NRA, POST, or equivalent).
• Defensive tactics training certificates documented.
• Able to obtain armed security guard license and firearm permits as required.
• Must pass all training and obtain CPR and First Aid/AED.
• Strong knowledge of security operations, laws, and regulations.
• Excellent instructional and presentation skills.
• Proficient in English, written and spoken at a high school level or better.
• Ability to stand/sit for up to 2 hours, lift 50 lbs and climb stairs.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop computerized, on-the-job training with a dedicated portal and track training records.
• Coordinate, develop, deliver and manage Vendor Personnel training and development programs; assess needs and customize materials.
• Review laws and regulations; prepare and improve compliance reports.
• Conduct and facilitate training sessions; provide progress updates on training completion.
• Develop methods to measure training effectiveness and make adjustments as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
