Job summary

Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is seeking a Training Manager in Houston to oversee and deliver all training programs for the Houston Metro security operation. You will ensure armed and unarmed personnel meet contract requirements, licensing standards, and performance expectations.

The role provides leadership to instructors and staff, maintains compliance and training records, and drives continuous improvement in training quality and operational readiness for the account.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years combined experience in security or related fields.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or training leadership role.
• Valid Texas DPS commissioned security officer license required.
• Experience managing large-scale or government-backed training programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development, coordination, and delivery of all training programs for Houston Metro operations.
• Develop and maintain training curricula for armed and unarmed officers, including firearms qualification and de-escalation.
• Ensure training content meets state, federal, contract, and company requirements.
• Facilitate classroom, practical, and field training sessions as required.
• Provide oversight to Training Instructors and staff; manage performance and scheduling.
• Maintain credentialing, documentation, and compliance with contract requirements.
• Maintain audit-ready training records, certifications, and remedial actions.
• Support field evaluations, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead leadership development for supervisors to improve consistency and operational effectiveness.
• Oversee firearms training and range operations in line with Texas DPS standards.
