Job summary

PGS USA seeks an experienced Armed Security Supervisor to oversee security operations for a high-profile national client in the Washington, D.C. area.

The role requires supervising personnel, maintaining staffing continuity, and coordinating with regional leadership to meet client needs. The position demands a retired government law-enforcement professional in good standing with an active DC SPO license with an Armed endorsement, plus firearms qualification and strong leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Must be a retired government law-enforcement professional in good standing.
• Current District of Columbia Special Police Officer license/commission with Armed endorsement.
• Current firearms qualification and requalification for armed SPO duties.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Experience in supervisory or leadership roles within security operations.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area.

Responsibilities

• Provide a highly visible armed security presence at client locations and supervise security personnel.
• Maintain staffing coverage and respond to client needs, including after-hours requests.
• Develop SOPs, post orders, training materials, and incident-response procedures.
• Coordinate with client and regional leadership, and ensure compliance with client requirements.
