PGS USA is seeking an experienced Armed Security Supervisor to oversee security operations for a high‑profile national client in the Washington, D.C. area.

This hands‑on leadership role requires supervising personnel, maintaining staffing continuity, and responding to client needs while ensuring compliance with post orders and security procedures. The candidate must hold a current District of Columbia Special Police Officer license with an Armed endorsement and have a strong background in law

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Retired government law-enforcement professional in good standing.
• Current District of Columbia Special Police Officer license with Armed endorsement.
• Prior supervisory/leadership experience in security operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed security presence at client locations and supervise security personnel.
• Maintain staffing continuity and 24/7 coverage as needed.
• Serve as on-site primary security leadership contact for operations.
• Train and coach security personnel on client expectations and SOPs.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, post orders, and emergency procedures.
• Coordinate with regional leadership to address staffing challenges and ensure client service.
