Job summary

Allied Universal seeks an Armed Security Shift Supervisor to oversee on-site security operations for a designated client in Burgaw, NC. The role supervises a team of security officers, coordinates with site management and the Account Manager, and ensures compliance with safety programs and training requirements.

The ideal candidate is at least 21 with a high school diploma, strong communication, and the ability to handle crises while maintaining professional client relations.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Have intermediate computer skills to operate wireless technology at client sites.
• Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site.
• Communicate staffing needs on shift to Account Manager or Operations Manager.
• Assure officers receive appropriate training and development.
• Assure employee grievances are heard with HR support.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift.
• Act as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and security officers.
• Provide coaching, recognition and discipline within empowerment range.
• Assist in managing uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles at the account.
• Ensure compliance with safety programs and site-specific hazards.
