Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry and be proficient with designated equipment. Pay Rate: $22.45 / Hour

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a visible presence.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with site staff and law enforcement when appropriate to address incidents or emergencies.
• Remain alert to unusual activity or potential threats within the location and take appropriate action as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a valid North Carolina Armed Security Professional License (NC: Armed SP Lic).
• Must have an Armed Designation as required by the position.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
