Job Summary

The Financial Coordinator Lead oversees the day-to-day operations of the Financial Coordinators and is the point of contact for training needs. The Lead is responsible for and ensures Financial Coordinators are coordinating referrals, scheduling appointments, obtaining insurance verification and benefits, tracking, documenting and communicating the authorizations of status to internal and external providers as well as the patient/family.

Pay Range

Minimum $25.46 Midpoint $33.73 Maximum $42.01

Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.

Experience

* Required: Minimum three years of administrative or clerical experience in a medical office.

Education

* Required: High School Diploma or GED.

* Preferred: Associate degree.

Specialized Skills

* Required: Strong verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal relationship and collaboration skills. Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English effectively at a level appropriate for the safe and effective performance of the job. Ability to think critically; work independently; manage multiple assignments; compose written material; work well under pressure; problem solve; organize and prioritize workload; pay close attention to details.

* Preferred: Bilingual in English and Spanish.

* Required: None.
