Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for a state site in South Yarmouth, MA. Shifts are 7 AM–7 PM on Mon, Tue, and Thu. Starting pay is $23.79/hour with paid orientation and training.

Must have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ year security experience. Flexible branch role with opportunities across industries via the shift-pickup platform. Responsibilities include armed patrols, incident reporting, access control, and assisting people on site.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver's license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Be at least 21 years of age and able to adapt to different posts.

Responsibilities

• Perform armed security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns.
• Sound alarms or call police/fire department as needed.
• Warn violators and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe and protect property and ensure authorized removal.
• Investigate incidents and maintain written logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary.
