Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer for a Part Time Shop Patrol in Odessa, TX. The role focuses on serving clients, conducting armed patrols, and maintaining security presence at a retail location.

The position requires a valid Texas Level III Armed Certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least three years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or five years of armed security experience.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and/or store personnel.
• Maintain armed security posture and conduct routine patrols.
• Adhere to site-specific policies and procedures; respond to incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and/or store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe site activity, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, policy violations, and other security-related concerns according to established procedures.
• Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence at the location.
