Job summary

Allied Universal in Miami, FL is seeking an armed Security Officer Patrol Technology Operations to safeguard riders and staff in a government transit environment. You will perform regular patrols, deter incidents, and respond to emergencies, while documenting activities and coordinating with authorities.

This full-time role requires 2+ years in security, a high school diploma, and a driver license for driving positions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to transit passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, stations, parking areas, vehicles, and surrounding perimeters to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and critical situations calmly following established protocols and coordinating with law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity and maintenance concerns.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and daily activity logs per site procedures.
