Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks an Armed Patrol Technology Operations Officer in Miami, FL. You will patrol transit facilities, deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns, providing professional service to riders, staff, and visitors.

The role requires 2+ years in security, a high school diploma, and a background check. A Guard Card is preferred, and the position is full-time with day and evening shifts in a government transit setting.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required as a condition of employment.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to transit passengers, employees, and visitors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, stations, parking areas and perimeters to deter incidents.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly while coordinating with law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, reporting suspicious activity or maintenance concerns.
• Prepare incident reports and daily activity logs in accordance with site procedures and regulations.
