Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Raleigh, NC. You will conduct armed patrols, deter incidents, and respond to security concerns while delivering exceptional service to clients and visitors.

As part of our team, you’ll follow post procedures, maintain logs, and uphold safety standards. The role requires specific licenses, training, and a background check per federal and state laws.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Armed Guard Card or License.
• Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted under applicable laws.
• Drug screen will be conducted where permitted by law.
• Industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to members, visitors, and employees.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM locations and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization; report suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports per policy.
