Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, invites you to join as an Armed Security Officer in Ladson, SC. You will patrol, deter incidents, monitor access, and respond to security concerns with professionalism in a manufacturing/industrial setting.

You will prepare reports, maintain compliance, and work with a committed team focused on integrity and service.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of armed security-related experience.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Handcuffing certification preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Participation in industry-specific security training.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas and verify credentials.
• Prepare accurate patrol, incident, and inspection reports and documentation.
