Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Armed Patrol Detail in Atlanta, GA, a part-time position offering a $21.75 per hour pay rate. The role involves monitoring, patrolling government facilities, managing access points, and responding to security concerns as part of a team.

The job requires at least one year of armed security or related experience, with preferred CPR/First Aid certifications and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be able to lift more than 20 pounds.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Background check and drug screening required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain required documentation, including daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol records.
• Carry and handle assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures.
