Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for full-time unarmed patrol and property inspections in Fort Worth, TX. You will provide customer service, perform routine patrols, monitor access, and report incidents while maintaining a visible security presence.

This role requires a valid driver's license, 18+ years of age (21+ for armed roles as applicable), a high school diploma, and compliance with background and drug screening policies.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; contact appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders according to established procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
