Job summary

Company Confidential is seeking a licensed Security Operations Specialist to provide armed protection across executive environments and field operations. You will monitor alarms, manage access, and respond decisively to incidents, while coordinating with law enforcement and protection teams.

The role requires a minimum of three years in private security, active CA guard firearms credentials, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three years of private security experience or military/relevant education.
• Active California Guard Card and California Exposed Firearm Permit with 9mm endorsement.
• Valid CA driver’s license and clean MVR.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Ability to assess threats and act with sound judgment under pressure.
• Strong de-escalation and professional interaction skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems.
• Willingness to work near animals.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed protective coverage for principals, families, estates, and properties.
• Monitor video surveillance, access control, and intrusion systems to deter breaches.
• Screen and manage visitors, vendors, and contractors at sites.
• Investigate and report suspicious activity and incidents with reports.
• Lead on-scene during alarms and emergencies until relieved.
• Render CPR/AED assistance until EMS arrives.
• Carry and deploy an exposed firearm per policy and law.
• Support protection teams with timely security and route information.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and security professionals as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
