Job summary

Eagles Point Security in San Diego County is hiring Armed Security Officers for full-time and part-time roles. You will deter unauthorized activity, patrol areas, perform access control, and document activity with scanning equipment.

Strong English communication and a valid BSIS Guard Card plus firearm permit are required. Candidates should be able to stand for 8+ hours, own a duty weapon, have reliable transportation, and bring 1 year of contract security experience or more.

Qualifications

• Valid BSIS Guard Card is required.
• Valid BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit is required.
• Must own your duty weapon.
• Must be fluent in English and have strong communication skills.
• Able to stand or walk 8+ hours; reliable transportation required.
• Minimum 1 year of contract security experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong armed presence to deter unauthorized activity and enhance safety.
• Conduct continuous foot patrols and maintain high visibility across the property.
• Perform access control and ensure only approved individuals are allowed entry.
• Use scanning equipment to document checkpoint activity as required.
• Detect, observe, and report suspicious persons, behavior, or hazards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and property management.
• Submit clear, detailed incident and activity reports.
• Support emergency protocols and enforce property rules and regulations.
• Report broken equipment or potential safety/security issues promptly.
• Must be comfortable working alone.

Shift: Swing and Graveyard shifts

Maintain a strong armed presence to deter unauthorized activity and enhance safety
