Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold valid BSIS Guard Card and Exposed Firearm Permit.
• Own duty weapon and reliable transportation required.
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal skills.
• Minimum 1 year of contract security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain armed presence to deter unauthorized activity and enhance safety.
• Conduct continuous foot patrols and maintain high visibility across the property.
• Perform access control and verify entry permissions.
• Use scanning equipment to document checkpoint activity as required.
• Detect, observe, and report suspicious persons, behavior, or hazards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and property management.
• Submit clear, detailed incident and activity reports.
• Support emergency protocols and enforce property rules and regulations.
• Report broken equipment or potential safety issues promptly.
• Work independently and comfortably alone.

Eagles Point Security is seeking highly professional and reliable Armed Security Officers to join our growing team in Oakland.

Location: Oakland, CA
Type: Full-time & Part-Time Available
Shift: Graveyard shift

Pay:$25-$27 per hour depending on experience and permits held

Maintain a strong armed presence to deter unauthorized activity and enhance safety

Conduct continuous foot patrols and maintain high visibility across the property

Perform access control and ensure only approved individuals are allowed entry

Use scanning equipment to document checkpoint activity as required

Detect, observe, and report suspicious persons, behavior, or hazards

Communicate effectively with team members and property management

Submit clear, detailed incident and activity reports

Support emergency protocols and enforce property rules and regulations

Report broken equipment or potential safety/security issues promptly

Must be comfortable working alone.

Valid BSIS Guard Card (Required)

Must own your duty weapon

Reliable transportation and a working smartphone

Fluent in English – verbal and written

Physically capable of standing/walking for 8+ hours

Great customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
