Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer Vehicle Patrol in Adelanto, CA. This full‑time role focuses on protecting clients across technology, media, and telecom sites, maintaining a visible security presence, and delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring access points, responding to alarms, and documenting incidents. Minimum requirements include an armed guard card, 6+ months of related experience, and a California weapons permit with 9mm

Qualifications

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Have at least six months of armed security‑related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a valid California weapons permit with a 9mm caliber endorsement.

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security‑related procedures, access‑control protocols, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and security‑related concerns.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report discrepancies or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain required activity documentation, and communicate security‑related observations to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Have at least six months of armed security‑related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a valid California weapons permit with a 9mm caliber endorsement.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
