Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Armed Driver Field Response in Signal Hill, CA. You will serve and safeguard clients, monitor and patrol, deter incidents, and provide professional customer service.

This driving post offers opportunities to respond to security concerns, maintain visibility, and support daily operations. Schedule includes Mon/Wed/Sat/Sun 12:00 AM–08:00 AM with pay rate $22.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• At least 6 months armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton preferred.
• Must be 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and public per site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify appropriate authorities.
• Conduct patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Wed 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or public-service agencies as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of municipal buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, maintain required logs and reports, and communicate security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly public-facing environment while following applicable site policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
