Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking an Armed Security Officer for a site access role in Greenville, SC. You will monitor access, patrol facilities, deter incidents, and provide professional customer service at an aerospace/defense location.

Qualifications

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Have at least three years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal policy.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by following security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, controlled-access areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for personnel, visitors, deliveries, and contractors per site requirements.
• Complete accurate reports and shift documentation for incidents, patrols, access-control activity, and other security observations.
