Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Guard – Property Access in Greenville, SC. The role requires patrolling, access control, and incident response at an aerospace/defense location, with a valid armed guard card and driver’s license.

You will deliver professional customer service while enforcing post orders and safety protocols. This full-time position offers a $22.00 hourly pay rate, shift coverage including daytime and evenings, and opportunities for ongoing training and career growth

Qualifications

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
• Have at least three years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established post orders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, controlled areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, screen visitors and deliveries, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, post orders, and Allied Universal policies.
