Allied Universal in Greenville, SC is seeking an armed security officer for a full‑time, evening schedule at an aerospace/defense site. You will perform access control, monitor property, respond to incidents, and provide professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Armed guard card or license required.
• At least three years of security-related experience, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors while enforcing site-specific security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain logs, and report unusual activity.
• Carry and maintain authorized duty equipment in accordance with laws and client policies.
