Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Officer for the Battle Creek / Kalamazoo / Jackson / Lansing / Benton Harbor areas. This role provides armed protective services, including patrols, access control, CCTV and alarm monitoring, and incident reporting.

Key responsibilities include maintaining security, building client relationships, and responding to emergencies with strict adherence to procedures. Uniform standards apply, with competitive health benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess, or be able to obtain, CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
• Federal and state firearms qualifications.
• NWDTP certification.
• OC, Baton and handcuffing certification.
• Defensive tactics and de-escalation training.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed security services to protect people and property.
• Maintain relationships with client staff and visitors.
• Report safety concerns and incidents verbally and in writing.
• Respond to emergencies according to protocol.
• Follow site-specific directives and post orders.
• Greet visitors and employees; assist as needed.
• Patrol the facility on foot or in a vehicle.
• Monitor phones, CCTV systems and alarms.
