Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time Armed Patrol) in Lynwood, CA to protect clients across commercial real estate locations. You will monitor areas, conduct patrols, deter incidents and deliver exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors and staff.

Responsibilities include reporting observations, documenting incidents, and adhering to site policies while maintaining a visible, professional presence. Must have an armed guard card and be 21+ with HS diploma.

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Response in Lynwood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Fri: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sat: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of commercial property common areas, parking areas, building perimeters, and access points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation while communicating professionally with Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
