• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, professional actions.
• Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports and maintain shift communications.

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and tenant inquiries, and report unauthorized access or suspicious behavior in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence throughout the property.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
