Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer at the Retail Command Center in Los Angeles, CA to safeguard clients across commercial real estate and related environments.

You will monitor sites, deter incidents, and provide exemplary customer service while maintaining a clear, visible presence. This full-time role offers shifts including 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM and 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM on various days.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• State, county, or city-issued security license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures and emergency responses.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns in a calm, professional manner.
• Monitor access points and document incidents, communicating with leadership and site contacts.
• Maintain a professional, visible security presence to support a welcoming environment.

As a Security Officer Retail Command Center in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout commercial real estate common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, documenting incidents and communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
• Provide a professional, visible presence that helps support a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and businesses.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
