Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer Patrol for a part-time role in Dallas, TX. You will protect campus clients by patrolling, maintaining a visible presence, and ensuring safety and compliance with campus policies.

The position requires responding to incidents, monitoring access points, and delivering excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors. This role emphasizes professional communication, teamwork, and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Conduct regular armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, and other locations.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor interactions and reporting.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident and patrol reports.

• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with access-control procedures, visitor interactions, and reporting of suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, campus-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with campus personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with access-control procedures, visitor interactions, and reporting of suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
