Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Officer for a Dallas, TX campus. You will patrol and monitor buildings, deter unauthorized access, and respond to incidents while delivering professional customer service to students, staff, and visitors.

Ideal candidates hold an armed guard card, Texas Level III certification, and a high school diploma. This is a full-time position with daytime to evening shifts and a focus on safety, integrity, and service.

Qualifications

• Armed guard card or license is required.
• Texas Level III Armed Certification is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and campus partners while following security procedures and campus policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations calmly and with proper protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, and walkways.
• Monitor access points and deter unauthorized entry and theft.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain documentation of incidents and patrol activities.

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Security in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming campus environment. You will respond to concerns, communicate professionally with students, staff, and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $17.94 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following campus protocols and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services.


• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.


• Monitor access points and observe campus activity to help deter unauthorized entry, suspicious behavior, theft, vandalism, and other policy violations.


• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrol activities, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.


• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.


• CPR certification is preferred.


• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
