Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer Patrol Presence in Dallas, TX. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible security presence, and support access control while providing excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors.

The role requires armed security experience, an armed guard card or license, and Level III Texas certification. You will work a daytime schedule with paid training and opportunities for career growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors while following site procedures and access-control requirements.
• Conduct armed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter to identify hazards and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor/contractor entry, and document activity.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Carry assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, training, and site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a Level III armed certification in Texas.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
