Allied Universal in Carrollton, TX seeks an Armed Security Officer Patrol Full Time to protect retail clients and customers. You will conduct regular and random armed patrols, monitor for suspicious activity, and respond calmly to incidents while enforcing site policies.

The role requires Level III Armed Certification in Texas, a HS diploma, and passing background checks and drug screening. You’ll join a team committed to service, integrity, and community safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to retail store clients, customers, and employees by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following applicable procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entry and exit points, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, potential theft, and policy violations, and help to deter unauthorized access or disruptive behavior through professional presence and timely reporting.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately; communicate with store management, law enforcement, and emergency personnel as needed.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
