Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer (Part Time Patrol) in Carrollton, TX. You will provide visible deterrence, customer service, and response to incidents across Retail/Malls and other sites, maintaining safety and following site procedures.

A Level III Armed Certification is required, and you must be 21+ with a high school diploma, and able to pass background checks and drug screening. Join a dynamic team with flexible scheduling using our Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. You will provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and support for visitors and team members while upholding Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity. A Level III Armed Certification is required for this armed position.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and unusual conditions to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and handle issued equipment in accordance with applicable laws, site procedures, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
