Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking an Armed Security Officer Patrol at our Carrollton, TX site. This full-time role requires a Texas Level III Armed Certification, 21+ age, and a high school diploma.

You will provide customer service, patrol procedures, and incident response, ensuring safety across the retail location. You will work day and night shifts with pay of $18.00 per hour and benefit from Allied Universal’s training, career growth, and support

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to retail store clients, customers, and employees by carrying out armed security procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and other critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location including floors, entry/exit points, parking, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and deter unauthorized access or disruptive behavior.
• Document incidents and patrols and communicate with store management and emergency personnel as needed.

Job Description

As a Armed Security Officer Patrol Full Time in Carrollton, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to retail store clients, customers, and employees by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following applicable procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entry and exit points, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, potential theft, and policy violations, and help to deter unauthorized access or disruptive behavior through professional presence and timely reporting.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately; communicate with store management, law enforcement, and emergency personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
