Job summary

Bering Straits Native Corporation (BSNC) seeks an Armed Security Guard in Anchorage, AK to perform security and escort duties at various government-related sites. Responsibilities include monitoring alarms, visitor control, and patrols, with strict compliance to safety and post orders.

Qualifications

Education Requirements: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Level of Experience Requirements: Minimum 1 year experience.
Must be at least 21 years old or older.
Citizen of the United States.
No private investigator or security guard license revocation or denial in any state.
No mental incompetence, no narcotics addiction or debt in last 48 months.
No listed disqualifying crimes.

Responsibilities

Authorize deviations from established schedules.
Perform guard functions including testing, monitoring, and responding to fire alarms and CCTV.
Notify authorities during emergencies or unusual incidents.
Manage visitor control, badge issuance, and secure access control.
Conduct rover and motorized patrols, respond to alarms and incidents.
