Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol for Miami, FL. The role offers fixed anchor shifts, with optional extra shifts via our scheduling platform, enabling earnings growth and experience across sites.

Pay rate is $22.26 per hour. The position supports a part-time schedule with potential progression toward a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• College degree required.
• DD214 or equivalent, associate degree, 60 credits, police or corrections academy certificate.
• State or local security license preferred.
• Baton and handcuffing certifications preferred.
• At least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at a government location by carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and disturbances calmly and report as required.
• Conduct armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access and verify credentials for authorized personnel and visitors.
• Complete detailed activity reports and shift communications.
