Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Enhanced Part Time Mobile Driver in Miami, FL. This role offers reliable, fixed shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $22.26 per hour. The position supports a flexible, cash-earning schedule with potential to build toward a full schedule, up to 40 hours per week. Candidates must meet armed-guard requirements and pass screenings.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• Armed guard card or license is required.
• At least 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
• DD214 with honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• Background investigation and a drug screen are required per laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at government facilities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and contact emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity or violations.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain firearms qualifications and equipment.
