Qualifications

• Graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent.
• Possess a college degree.
• Possess a Guard Card or License preferred.
• Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License or Corrections Officer License where applicable.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, background check and drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while carrying out security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of assigned buildings and perimeters and report hazards.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and disturbances calmly and professionally.
• Monitor access, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access.
• Prepare clear patrol and incident reports and coordinate with law enforcement when needed.
