Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Armed Patrol Security Officer in CHICAGO, IL. You will perform routine patrols, deter security incidents, and provide professional customer service to students, staff, and visitors.

This Part Time role offers weekend shifts (Sat/Sun, 5:00 PM - 1:00 AM) with a pay rate of $20.50 per hour. Requirements include armed guard licensing, one year of security experience, and background checks in accordance with laws.

Qualifications

• One year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner and inform appropriate contacts or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points and verify authorized access per site procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain documentation related to incidents and patrols.
