Qualifications

• As a condition of employment, background investigation required by applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply before employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government services location while carrying out site-specific procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization as required, and maintain awareness of activity throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures.
• Prepare clear reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.

What You'll Do:

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
