Allied Universal in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Armed Security Officer - Part Time Patrol Response on a flexible schedule. The role offers anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings.

The position pays $23.50 per hour with daytime weekend shifts and duties including customer service, armed patrols, access control, incident response, and thorough reporting.

Qualifications

• Armed Guard Card or License required.
• 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal, state, local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, including exterior perimeters, parking areas, access points, and production-support areas.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized activity, hazards, or unusual conditions to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site requirements and applicable armed-post policies.

As a Armed Security Officer Part Time Patrol Response in Phoenix, AZ, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Sat 04:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sun 04:00 AM - 04:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may picking-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
