Allied Universal. Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Part-Time in Phoenix, AZ to provide reliable, flexible security coverage at designated sites.

The role offers anchor shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts through our platform, with earnings potential across multiple locations. The role requires at least 2 years in security, an armed guard card, a valid driver’s license, and comfort with computers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Armed guard card or license required.

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted.

• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures and site policies at a financial institution.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report as required.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, and parking areas.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization, and report suspicious activity.
• Complete incident reports and logs in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal standards.

As a Armed Security Officer - Enhanced Part-Time in Phoenix, AZ, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $26.25 / Hour

Job Schedule: Mon 08:30 AM - 06:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report suspicious behavior or conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
