Pay rate is $21.50 per hour. The position requires armed security experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass background and drug screening. This is a site-based, on-site opportunity with fixed anchor shifts and optional extra shifts.

Qualifications

• Armed security experience required or preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, visitors, and the public while following site policies and emergency procedures at a government corrections location.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, professional manner and report as required.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report issues to site personnel.
• Maintain accurate logs and incident reports, coordinating with emergency responders as needed.
