Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months armed security/military or law enforcement experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Armed guard card or license preferred.
• 21+ years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, visitors, and residents in a correctional environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly per protocols.
• Conduct armed patrols of buildings, perimeters, and parking areas.
• Monitor access and verify credentials; document visitor and incident data.
• Maintain certifications and comply with laws and policies on firearm carry.
