Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Armed Enhanced Part Time Mobile Patrol Driver in Tillery, NC. This role offers reliable, flexible hours and a path to build a career with a national leader in security services.

You will patrol assigned sites, monitor access, and respond to incidents, with pay of $21.50 per hour and a schedule that includes fixed shifts plus optional additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Qualifications

• Six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver's license required.
• Armed guard card or license preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned areas to deter threats and identify concerns.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, violations, hazards, and suspicious activity; document incidents accurately.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow established procedures with site personnel.
• Operate assigned security equipment and stay ready to respond in accordance with laws and post orders.
