You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication to staff, visitors, and patients. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.75 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeSat08:00 AM - 06:00 PMSun08:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, donors, visitors, and/or staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Carry and maintain authorized defensive equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and site requirements, and complete accurate incident and patrol documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
