Pay Rate: $19.57 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to members, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, ATM locations, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within the location, and report unusual conditions, policy violations, and security-related concerns.
• Maintain required reports and activity logs, and carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess a valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
