Allied Universal in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Emergency Response. This role offers flexible scheduling, anchor shifts, and opportunities to pick up additional shifts to maximize earnings.

You will patrol, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and maintain daily logs. Requirements include armed security experience, 21+, a high school diploma, and passing background and drug screening. Pay is $20.60 per hour.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Emergency Response in Raleigh, NC, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour

Mon 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, lobby areas, parking areas, and ATM locations, following established site procedures for visitor access and suspicious activity reporting.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, surrounding property, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and required logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
